JOB DESCRIPTION: Account Manager

SUMMARY: Acts as liaison between Pukka’s customers, sales force and manufacturing facilities. Communicate product status with customers and reps. Provide support and ensure that customer and reps’ needs are being met in a timely manner. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers. Understand customer issues/needs and utilize Pukka’s resources to resolve their issues and fulfill their needs. Based on workload, assist with new sales and prospecting. Cooperatively work closely with Pukka’s management team in all aspects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Interact regularly and proactively with your respective customer base, sales representatives, and departments within Pukka to understand our customers business and ensure their needs are met.
2.Motivate customers to use and find additional value within Pukka. Maximize and expand customers’ use of Pukka services bymonitoring customer strategies, trends, etc.
3.Work closely with selected Sales Force to ensure their needs are being met and to inform them of any customer issues that may arise.
4.Be main contact to Sales Force regarding deadlines, orders pending, internal processes, etc.
5.Knowledge of order entry system. Assisting in opening new accounts, maintaining current accounts, accessing order history, etc.
6.Communicate daily with factory regarding pending orders, stitch out approvals, and product issues.
7.Update customers and sales force on ship dates for orders and samples being delivered.
8.Responsible for checking all artwork and making sure everything is accurate before sending to the customer for approval.
9.Responsible for obtaining customer approvals on artwork, sample hats, etc.
10.Responsible for tracking all pending orders and making the appropriate follow-ups via email or phone call.
11.Bringing product issues on delivery to attention and getting resolutions back to customer in a timely manner.
12.Work with internal design team regarding artwork and designs needed to support customers and developing new packages for prospectivecustomers.
13.Responsible for reviewing all artwork when approved by customer to ensure call-outs meet factory expectations and match PO being sent.
14.Shipping out samples, swatches and any literature needed by reps, existing accounts and future accounts.
15.Relay customer needs to factory along with providing factory with order details and artwork.
16.Work closely with internal team to accurately and efficiently complete orders.
17.Introduce new product ideas to customers when appropriate.
18.Responsible for keeping track of any inventory customer may have at warehouse and shipping the desired amounts on time.
19.Helping in answering main phone line and directing calls appropriately.
20.Assist with the Live Chat function within Pukka’s website to answer customer’s questions and direct inquiries appropriately.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required:
1.Must be self directed and capable of setting priorities independently.
2.Interpersonal skills and abilities to interact with all members of the Pukka team and customer base contacts.
3.Must have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing and growing, entrepreneurial environment.
4.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and with the written word.
5.Ability to exercise good judgement and decision-making skills.
6.Minimum High School Diploma.
7.Three years of experience working in an office or service-related industry.
8.Ability to use office equipment, including a computer, copier and fax machine.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Occasional Travel and Occasional Overtime Required
