Title: National Sales Manager
Report to: President
Department: Sales

Imperial is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead our best-in-class golf sales team. This remote position is critical for driving consistent sales growth, managing key accounts, and overseeing a team of independent golf sales representatives across the United States. The National Sales Manager will set sales goals, manage budgeting, work with operations to manage capacity forecasts, and contribute to Imperial’s ongoing growth in the green grass golf market.

  • Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Base + Bonus
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Location: Remote (Missouri-based preferred but not required)
  • Travel: 60-80%

What You’ll be Doing

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of independent golf sales representatives, set sales goals, and ensure consistent achievement of KPIs.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth and increase market share through strategic channel distribution.
  • Key Account Management: Serve as the primary liaison for top green grass facilities and key golf customers.
  • Sales Strategy & Forecasting: Develop sales budgets, project production numbers, and align with operations to manage capacity forecasts.
  • Trade Shows: Lead Imperial’s presence at major events such as the PGA Show and internal sales meetings.
  • Sales Representative Recruitment: Continuously network to identify and recruit top-tier independent sales reps.
  • Partnerships & Sponsorships: Negotiate and manage key partnerships and sponsorships for Imperial’s golf business.
  • Presentation & Communication: Build and deliver polished sales presentations to customers, sales reps, and executive leadership.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Analyze data to provide strategic insights, oversee budgeting, and ensure alignment with growth objectives.

What We Need

  • Experience: 8-10 years in sales leadership, preferably within the golf industry or a closely related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; graduate school preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Strong leadership, people management, and presentation skills.
    • Strategic and analytical thinking with administrative expertise.
    • Familiarity with custom logo graphic design and embroidery
    • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Industry Background: Deep understanding of the golf industry, its unique culture, and Imperial’s brand is highly preferred.
