Imperial is seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented Master Scheduler to lead macro-level production scheduling and capacity planning for our site in Bourbon, MO and 3 other locations in Bonne Terre, Ellington and Winona, MO. This role is responsible for transforming forecasted demand into optimized executable production schedules, managing ERP parameters, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving scheduling excellence. With 1–2 direct reports, this role is vital to ensuring our operational plans support both manufacturing productivity and customer expectations by deploying an efficient and effective SIOP process across the business.

What You’ll be Doing
Master Scheduling & ERP Management
- Develop, publish, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in alignment with forecast, demand, capacity, and business priorities.
- Optimize planning parameters such as lead times, safety stock, and planning horizons.
- Use tools like Microsoft Project and NetSuite(or equivalent ERP/MRP systems) to manage complex, multi-line production schedules.
Capacity & Production Planning
- Translate demand forecasts into actionable production plans by evaluating labor, equipment, and material availability.
- Identify and resolve capacity constraints and material shortages before they impact production.
- Lead planning efforts for new product introductions and engineering changes, ensuring production readiness.
- Serve as the primary SIOP driver, leading capacity planning and scheduling management efforts.
- Oversee site-level inventory management to ensure alignment with production plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Procurement, and Inventory Control teams to align on priorities and execute efficient plans.
- Partner closely with front-end (Sales/Customer Service) demand manager to deploy, and continually improve, a best-in-class SIOP capability across all production domestic and international
- Communicate production schedules, risks, and changes clearly across departments to ensure alignment.
- Coordinate multi-plant material transfers and support inventory reduction initiatives and turns goals.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop 1–2 direct reports responsible for executing and maintaining scheduling activities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration within the team.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track scheduling KPIs including adherence, throughput, and capacity utilization.
- Monitor slow-moving or obsolete inventory and work with stakeholders on resolution plans.
- Support and drive lean/continuous improvement rigor via manufacturing, kanban, and operational excellence initiatives across the scheduling/production planning function.
Success Will be Measured By
- Quantifiable improvement trends for production KPIs related to deployment of SIOP and other direct initiatives driven by the master scheduler function
What We Need
- 5-8 years of production or supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environment, including 1–2 years in a master scheduling or senior-level planning role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, kanban, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite or equivalent preferred).
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with Smartsheet, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly to change.
