Imperial is seeking a proactive and people-centered HR Specialist to lead training, onboarding, employee development, and coaching programs across the organization. This role plays a critical part in shaping Imperial’s employee experience, ensuring new hires are set up for success and that team members have the resources and support to grow. The HR Specialist will design and deliver high-impact training initiatives, partner with managers to identify development needs, and foster a continuous learning culture. This position reports directly to the HR Manager.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
Full Time
Location: Hybrid (4 days Onsite) - Bourbon, Mo.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Lead and manage company onboarding programs and new hire orientation, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience for all new employees
  • Partner with managers and departments to assess training needs and build annual training plans
  • Develop and deliver internal training sessions on topics such as soft skills, compliance, leadership, and professional development
  • Implement and manage Learning & Development platforms and tools
  • Create coaching frameworks and support leadership with ongoing coaching, feedback tools, and performance enablement
  • Support talent development efforts including career pathing, internal mobility programs, and mentoring initiatives
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, metrics, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Stay current on learning and development trends, bringing new ideas and tools to Imperial’s people strategy

What We Need

  • 1-2+ years of experience in HR, L&D, or a related training role
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design effective training materials and programs for a variety of audiences
  • Experience managing onboarding or talent development programs
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and digital learning platforms
  • Passion for employee engagement, growth, and culture
