Imperial is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role will serve as a key thought partner to executive leadership, providing insights that drive profitable growth, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making. The Director of FP&A will oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and corporate functions.

What You’ll be Doing
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes, translating business priorities into financial frameworks that guide decision making
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, capital investments, M&A opportunities, and operational trade offs
- Partner directly with executive leadership and functional leaders to translate business strategy into financial plans
- Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Deliver clear, concise financial reporting and executive-ready presentations for leadership and the Board, not just the numbers, but the “what and why” behind performance trends and variances
- Drive KPI development and performance management across operations, supply chain, sales, and SG&A that give leaders real-time visibility into what’s working and what’s not
- Support margin analysis, cost optimization initiatives, and operational efficiency efforts
- Improve FP&A tools, systems, and processes to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability
- Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team as Imperial scales
What We Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 8 - 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, ideally within manufacturing or consumer products
- Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and scenario planning at the leadership level
- Experience influencing and partnering with senior leaders and driving change across functions
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities and the ability to simplify complexity for non-finance audiences
- Experience with ERP and BI/reporting tools (NetSuite, Power BI, or similar strongly preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leader comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Equal parts strategist and operator, you can build a 10-year model and roll up your sleeves to dig into an inventory analysis by SKU.
