Imperial is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Crew Lead to join our QC team. This associate-level leadership role is the next step above our QC Auditor position and serves as a key connector between frontline auditors and management. The QC Crew Lead will help guide daily quality activities on the floor, provide direction to QC Auditors, and ensure our products meet the high standards Imperial is known for. This position reports directly to the Senior Quality Director.

What You’ll be Doing
- Lead and support a team of QC Auditors during daily production activities, providing guidance, training, and real-time feedback
- Conduct quality audits and inspections of headwear, apparel, and accessory products to ensure compliance with Imperial’s quality standards
- Identify and document defects, non-conformances, or process deviations; escalate issues to the Senior Quality Director as appropriate
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality control checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and inspection criteria
- Monitor and track audit results, defect trends, and team performance metrics; communicate findings to the Senior Quality Director
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Warehouse, and Decorating teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
- Assist in onboarding and training new QC Auditors on processes, tools, and quality standards
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes when quality issues are identified
- Maintain organized and accurate quality records and documentation
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by the Senior Quality Director
What We Need
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality control, manufacturing, or production environment; previous experience as a QC Auditor or similar role preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, or mentor a small team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work
- Solid understanding of quality inspection methods, defect identification, and product compliance standards
- Effective communicator—able to clearly convey quality issues and expectations to both teammates and leadership
- Comfortable working with data: able to record findings accurately, identify basic trends, and summarize results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar tools; experience with quality management systems (QMS) a plus
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities without close supervision
- Positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working at a computer or workstation
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and keyboards
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
- Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move throughout the facility, including walking, bending, and reaching as needed
- Visual acuity sufficient to read screens, documents, and reports
